Celtic fans are reeling after watching what can only be regarded as a gutless performance against Hearts.

Hearts beat Celtic in convincing fashion as the Tynecastle club put an early title marker down with a statement win against Brendan Rodgers’ side.

The 3-1 defeat puts Celtic eight points behind Hearts as Rodgers presides over a team who has dropped ten points in the first ten games this season.

And as the fallout of the loss in Edinburgh continues, the Celtic Fans Collective have now released a strong statement urging fans to continue the fight to force change at the club.

Celtic Fans Collective tell supporters they have ‘the power to force change’ at the club

Celtic fans are all in agreement that board change is required in order to progress the club not only in Scotland, but on the continent in the Champions League.

And reacting to the Hearts result, the Collective issued a call to arms to the supporters ahead of Falkirk’s visit to Celtic Park.

The statement on X said, “What we witnessed yesterday was the result of repeated failures in the transfer market.

“This will continue until there is change at the Club – in both structure and personnel.

“Celtic fans have the power to force that change by staying united and taking action.

“Not Another Penny.”

The Collective is also arranging another leaflet drop for the Celtic Park clash against Falkirk as action continues to ramp up this week.

What Brendan Rodgers said about the Celtic Fans Collective Not Another Penny campaign

Celtic’s Not Another Penny campaign is well under way and weeks into it, there is no real evidence to show how it’s impacting the club. Yet.

When it was launched, Rodgers was asked about the campaign ten days ago and the Celtic boss refused to criticise it.

The Celtic manager said, “Well, one, I haven’t seen that. Two, I would say, listen, the Celtic supporters are at the heart of this club.

“That is what Celtic is synonymous with, and hopefully going forward, we can find that balance that allows that great support to spill onto the field and obviously, we have that harmony throughout the club.

“But until then, I’m sure both parties will continue discussing. In the meantime, it’s really about affecting what we can, and that’s on the pitch.”
