Celtic fans will be able to enjoy Clyde Superscoreboard in a new way this season.

The long-standing, popular radio phone-in has a new studio and it’s being reported that they will start to stream live video online.

The Scottish Sun‘s Roger Hannah — a regular contributor — says that the show will be broadcast live on YouTube and Twitter between 6pm and 8pm Monday to Friday.

In addition, “long-form social content” will be posted on TikTok and Instagram.

Short clips from the show have previously been shared online but it now seems like the producers are about to get serious with the video side of things.

Superscoreboard has been around for decades and is a bit of a Scottish football institution. It’s callers are the lifeblood of the show and make it enjoyable — particularly after crushing defeats for our city rivals.

Being able to watch the show this year may take it in a different direction, but don’t worry if you prefer to listen. It will still be broadcast live on radio and released later as a podcast, so your runs and drives are safe for now.

Former Celtic defender Mark Wilson is a regular on the show which is hosted by Gordon Duncan.

The show returns to its two-hour format on Monday, with Duncan back in the hot seat. The start of the Premiership season will be just a few days away at that stage so it may well be worth listening (and watching).

Even if that’s just to hear what awful prediction Hugh Keevins has got ahead of the new season.
