Celtic fans will find out more about Hyeongyu Oh shortly; Celtic Park event set

Celtic fans will find out more about new signing Hyeongyu Oh shortly, with a Celtic Park media event scheduled for later today.

The South Korea forward was announced as a Hoops player yesterday, joining on a five year deal from Suwon Samsung Bluewings.

After chatting to in-house media yesterday, the goalscorer will today meet the media for the first time.

Fan media are included in this so 67 Hail Hail will get an opportunity to ask our latest signing a question or two.

Often these press conferences have taken place over Zoom so it is great that we are being invited along to the stadium to find out all about our new recruit.

Expectations for Oh were raised yesterday given how genuinely buzzing Ange Postecoglou looked in his Celtic TV interview

Postecoglou spoke about a number of things including the lengthy process required to get a deal over the line.

It will be interesting to hear from Oh how he found all the speculation, and what he feels he can bring to Celtic.

Given that he hasn’t played competitive for several weeks, it will be good to find out how far away he feels he is from contributing in Scotland.

The broadcast and print journalists are also likely to be in attendance for separate conferences, so there should be plenty of Oh quotes, clips and audio going out from late afternoon onwards.
