Celtic fans will remember Teemu Pukki as a player who moved to Paradise with a big reputation.
Pukki was tipped to become Finland’s best-ever player six years after his disastrous spell at Celtic where he scored just nine goals in 38 appearances.
Joining Celtic in August 2013, Pukki struggled to cope with the demands of playing for the Glasgow giants and quickly left on loan to go to Brondby a year later.
However, it was at Norwich City where the former Celtic striker flourished and so did his international career with Finland.
And now, Pukki has decided to hang his international boots up, and he does so holding a goalscoring record that will leave many Celtic fans scratching their heads.

Teemu Pukki’s emotional response to Finland retirement
Pukki’s last game for Finland will be in today’s game against Andorra in front of a home crowd at the Tammelan Stadion.
However, as the Finnish 2026 World Cup dream died after their shock 1-0 home defeat to Malta last week, that was the time for Pukki to say goodbye to the fans.
Finland have just one more fixture left to play before Pukki hangs up his boots, but there is no doubt that the former Celtic striker is devastated at how his illustrious international career came to a shock end.
