Celtic have been given hope that star man Odsonne Edouard will stay with the Hoops to help try and clinch 10 in a row following some comments from the player’s agent, the Daily Record reports.
There has to be a worry that the Frenchman could leave the Hoops in the current transfer window following Celtic’s midweek exit from the Champions League.
However, the player’s agent, Lasana Koita, has stated that the player is happy at the Hoops and that winning 10 in a row is important to the forward.

“Odsonne is happy at Celtic and enjoys life in Scotland” Koita said, as quoted by the Daily Record.
“There is still a target”
“It is not crucial for Odsonne to be playing in the Champions League but it is important We are going to wait because there is still a target for Celtic. There’s the Europa League and to go for 10 titles. Ten titles is important for Odsonne” he concluded.

Koita’s comments are as good as any Celtic fan could have hoped for at this moment in time. He could have stated that Edouard would leave after another season without Champions League football. However, that is not the case.
He has given Celtic fans hope that Edouard will be at the club to lead the line until the end of the season.
Hoops could receive massive bid for player
Of course, a lot could change between now and the transfer window closing in October. The Hoops could receive a huge bid for the player which would be too much to turn down – £40m for example.
Edouard could decide that he wants to move on and try a new challenge at his stage of his career.
However, for the moment, according to his agent, the striker does seem to be committed to Celtic. That has to be a relief for all at the club. Only time will tell if that situation changes in the weeks to come. For now though, Edouard needs to recover from his injury and help the Hoops get back on track.
In other news, a report claims that Celtic ‘expect’ to sign three players in the transfer window.
