Hearts will make an entire section of Tynecastle available to their ultras for next month’s Scottish Cup tie against Celtic.
Ange Postecoglou‘s Hoops venture to the capital on Saturday 11 March knowing that victory will secure another trip to Hampden Park.
But it promises to be a tough fixture against the side currently third in the Premiership.

Yesterday, we told you how Celtic supporters would take up the entirety of the Roseburn Stand, due to Scottish Cup allocation rules.
That is sure to boost the atmosphere at Tynecastle, as is a tasty move from the Jambos to have their Gorgie Ultras group housed together.
In a statement, the club said: “For this important game, the Gorgie Ultras fans’ group will be located in Lower Section X of the Gorgie Stand.
“The addition of the Gorgie Ultras has helped to generate an atmosphere befitting of Tynecastle Park, with players and management regularly commenting how much it aids the performance on the pitch. The club hopes that this will continue as we bid to return to Hampden.
“Current Lower Section X season ticket holders have been allocated seating in Upper Section X should they wish to purchase a match ticket during phase one of ticket sales.”
As per an Edinburgh Evening News piece, the ultras are keen to be housed together in the same area at matches, but existing season ticket holders make this a challenge.

But Hearts clearly want to make us much noise as possible when Celtic come calling, and the nature of Scottish Cup ticketing allows them to have the Ultras in their own section.
Of course, we are very used to seeing designated ultras sections at Celtic Park. The Green Brigade and Bhoys Celtic both make plenty of noise on matchdays and aid the team.
Celtic’s influence on ultras has been clear to see. We’ve led the way in Scotland over recent years, most notably in 2016 when we created the UK’s first safe standing area. (Ferco Seating)
Given the success at Celtic Park, it’s no surprise to see more and more ultras groups popping up around the country.
Let’s hope it’s the Celtic faithful who are heard on March 11.
