Celtic supporters will be given the entirety of the Roseburn Stand at Tynecastle for the upcoming Scottish Cup quarter-final clash against Hearts.

Celtic fans have been given a reduced allocation at the stadium in recent years, with Hearts embarking on a new initiative to house season ticket holders at that end of the ground.

However, on their official website today, they have confirmed that due to Scottish FA rules for the cup, the entirety of the Roseburn Stand will be handed over to the Bhoys support.

It will mean more than double the current allocation of around 1,300 will be heading to the capital to cheer on Celtic in the quarter-final.

Kick-off is at 12:15pm on Saturday 11th March and those who can’t make it will be able to watch on Viaplay Sport 1.

This news ensures that a very fiery atmosphere will enhance the action on the pitch, which is already guaranteed to be feisty enough with a place at Hampden in the semi-finals up for grabs.

Celtic won an incredible match at Tynecastle back in October with goals from James Forrest, Giorgos Giakoumakis, Daizen Maeda and Greg Taylor securing a 4-3 victory.

Robbie Neilson’s side are likely to put up as much of a fight in the upcoming fixture and no doubt the home fans will turn out in good numbers of their own.

It’s going to be a superb spectacle. And one to savour for the travelling fans.
