Celtic winger Luis Palma has picked up a knock whilst on international duty for Honduras.
Palma, who has become a first-team regular at Celtic this season, is in “discomfort” after clashing with Mexico over the weekend but it’s unclear what the extent of his issue is.
The Celtic star continued his inspired form on Saturday with an assist for Anthony Lozano’s opener for Honduras in a 2-0 win, earning himself Man of the Match in the victory in an impressive showing on the international stage.
With Liel Abada and Daizen Maeda both currently out injured, everyone at the Bhoys will be hoping that Palma hasn’t picked up a problem that will keep him out of any matches.
Honduras head coach Reinaldo Rueda said: [The Scottish Sun], “Luis Vega has a discomfort in his shoulder, and a small discomfort that Luis Palma has in a duel he had with Sanchez, we have those situations, today we will have our first training session.
“Yesterday recovery work was done, all joint mobility was stimulated and there we will see the evolution of the entire group.”

Palma’s issue doesn’t appear to be anything long-term like Maeda and Abada and Celtic fans will be waiting to see if he manages to play any part in the second leg.
Celtic can’t afford to suffer any more injuries in the frontline with doubts over Kyogo Furuhashi’s fitness after a head injury suffered against Aberdeen.
The Celtic winger’s hat trick of assists and penalty strike against Aberdeen just over a week ago highlighted that he is thriving under the pressure of being a Celtic player.
Celtic also have a heavy schedule of fixtures ahead throughout November and December and the full depth of the squad will be needed.
