Henrik Larsson is a worldwide icon for all that he achieved at Celtic before he moved on to Barcelona and then Man United.
Now retired from football, Larsson’s new passion is golf as he enjoys his life as a Celtic legend who now supports the club as a fan.
The Swedish icon was voted as Celtic’s best-ever striker of the modern era, but all Larsson does now is strike golf balls. And he’s pretty good at it.

Henrik Larsson’s superb reply to Rangers needle proves Celtic icon’s quick wit
The Icon Series is an annual golf event that pits some of world football’s legends and athletes against each other.
Held at Reignwood Park in Bangkok, Larsson was part of Team World who took on Team England in the four-day event.
When Larsson was about to tee off, someone in the crowd shouted ‘You should’ve signed for Rangers’.
And the Celtic legend did this:
The crowd were in tears and loved the comeback as the Celtic hero took it all in great fun.

Larsson’s team consisted of legendary names like Gareth Bale, Gabriel Batistuta, Nigel De Jong, Ryan Giggs and David Ginola.
Team England had Jimmy Bullard, Andy Cole, Robbie Fowler, Celtic hero Joe Hart and Paul Ince amongst others.
Unfortunately for Larsson, Team England won this series in a thrilling finale as the two sides battled out a 20-19 scorecard.
