Celtic make excellent Europa League ticket announcement

Celtic have again frozen UEFA Europa League ticket prices, meaning there’s a very affordable route for supporters to watch the Bhoys take on some top continental outfits.

Celtic have been drawn against Bundesliga team Bayer Leverkusen, La Liga outfit Real Betis and old Hungarian foes Ferencvaros.

It’s a mouth-watering set of fixtures that had a good chance of selling out the stadium regardless of today’s announcement.

But the club have kept prices in line for what we paid for the 2018/19 edition of the tournament, almost guaranteeing huge crowds, per the official website.

The adult package that includes all three games will cost £72, with the concession package coming in at £57. Under-13s can attend all three games for just £42 in total.

Celtic say that they are hoping to put tickets on sale early next week.

However, the club have also advised supporters against booking any away travel until there is word from UEFA on allowances for travelling fans.

In the qualification stages, UEFA didn’t allow any away fans into stadiums. If that rule holds, there will be little point in thousands travelling abroad other than to see the sights of the clubs’ cities.

Some will be itching to get back to away European games, given they are such a part of the fabric of the Celtic supporting experience.

Still, at least we have a rocking Celtic Park to look forward to. And at a decent price. I’ll be buying my seat as soon as its available next week! Nice one Celtic!
