Celtic have made a surprise announcement this morning, providing supporters with a first look at this season’s new third kit.

The Hoops fans have been loving the kit collection released by Adidas so far for this campaign, with the home and away strips for 2022/23 producing a brilliant reaction.

With that in mind, there was much anticipation for the release of the new third kit and the Parkhead faithful were excited to see what the popular sports brand would come up with next.

Supporters were given their first glimpse at the new third kit earlier this morning, as the club announced that it would be hitting the shops later this month.

Adidas looked to have mixed things up this year, using fresh new colours which have been described as ‘Clear Onix, Pulse Yellow and Black features’.

There is also a classy touch on the cuffs of the sleeves, with a pattern showcasing the ‘iconic geometric outline of Celtic Park in the Glasgow landscape.

Matching shorts and socks with three-stripe detailing complete the strip, which will become available for supporters to pre-order on the 11th of August.

It is fair to say that the Bhoys partnership with Adidas has been a strong one for both parties over the last few years, with new replica tops flying off the shelves.

With all three strips set to hit stores across the country, you would imagine that trend would continue for the 2022/23 campaign.

There already appears to be some buzz on social media surrounding the new-look Celtic top, and supporters are looking forward to seeing Ange Postecoglou’s side wearing the new third kit during the season.

Although that may only be on a handful of occasions, I am sure we are likely to see plenty of Celtic fans sporting the new kit when it is released later in August.

In other news, “I’m just grateful” – Jota perfectly sums up joy of quality Celtic moment.
