Celtic’s opening six 2024/25 Premiership fixtures compared to Rangers

Celtic now know how the defence of their Scottish Premiership crown will begin as the league fixtures for the new 2024/25 season were confirmed.

The Hoops return to Premiership action in August and will be hoping for a more positive start to the season than last year.

Despite beating Ross County on the opening day, Celtic conceded twice at home to the Staggies and after a win against Aberdeen, they drew to St Johnstone at home.

Seven points from nine may not seem too bad but Celtic fans will remember the manner of the performances put in.

Thankfully, Rangers were in a much more precarious situation under Michael Beale and by October, the Bhoys were well ahead in the title race.

Opening up a sizeable lead at the top even earlier in the 2024/25 season would be ideal this time around – and perhaps a realistic proposition.

That’s because Rangers are once again in turmoil due to the fact they face playing their opening Premiership games away from Ibrox as a result of stadium restoration delays.

So can Celtic take advantage of that embarrassing situation across our first six league games? 67 Hail Hail have them listed below, while we also have a look at Rangers’ opening fixtures.
