Celtic’s media team are clearly just as impatient for the football to restart as the rest of us.

Earlier today, they got the blood pumping for tomorrow and beyond by posting a compilation of all the team’s league goals so far this season. You can watch it here.

The five minute video serves as a reminder of how many brilliant goals Ange Postecoglou’s side have scored already this season.

Jota’s two screamers against Aberdeen and Kilmarnock are included, as well as an array of over-head kicks and brilliant team goals.

As the goals go in, the club keeps a running total of who has supplied the most goals and assists.

In terms of the former, Kyogo and Liel Abada lead the way with six each. Jota is next on four.

But when it comes to assists, Matt O’Riley is well out in front. The former MK Dons man has set up six of our league goals so far.

O’Riley is a class player, who offers us quality from open play as well as dead balls.

Even when he isn’t scoring or assisting, he is playing a part in goals, as well as working hard for the team defensively.

Let’s hope the club have marked some time in the diary to do the total tally come the World Cup break.
