Celtic will return back to competitive action this Sunday – 149 days after our last match.

Back in early March, Neil Lennon’s men notched five with no reply against St. Mirren as Leigh Griffiths netted a hat-trick.

We’re backing the Bhoys to dismantle Hamilton in similar fashion. But with no Leigh Griffiths and, crucially, no supporters.

It’s going to be an strange afternoon at Parkhead. But with all that’s at stake this season, we’ll have no option but to get used to things as the Hoops return to league action.

Here’s the team that we’re backing to do the business on Sunday evening.

The team that picks itself

Rather unusually, Neil Lennon’s biggest decision could come in nets following the recent capture of Greek stopper Vasilis Barkas.

Don’t be totally surprised to see the former AEK Athens man start on Sunday, but we’re tipping Lennon to go with Scott Bain for this match – given that he’s trained with the team in recent weeks.

The back four should be Jeremie Frimpong, Christopher Jullien, Kristoffer Ajer and Greg Taylor. Those four have been regulars throughout our shortened pre-season, and are evidently Lennon’s first-choice for league matches.

In midfield expect to see Scott Brown and Callum McGregor sitting behind Ryan Christie.

On the wings it should be James Forrest and Mohamed Elyounoussi while Odsonne Edouard will almost certainly be the striker.

In others news, Craig Gordon has earned an impressive media opportunity.
