Celtic could be set to move for more than one striker in the January transfer window, according to a report.
The Scottish Daily Mail (Print edition, 2/1, Page. 79) reports that Hoops boss Neil Lennon is looking at possibly signing two strikers in the window.
Possible move to replace injured star?

The report also claims that the Hoops boss is thinking over a move for a midfielder in light of the recent injury suffered by Ryan Christie.
One of those strikers might well be Slovan Bratislava forward Andraz Sporar, who the Hoops are reportedly are set to have talks with this week.
The midfielder news is eye-catching, as Celtic have a lot of players who can play in that position. However, perhaps Lennon feels that reinforcements are needed are the poor midfield display in the recent 2-1 loss to Rangers.
No surprise that Hoops want to sign strikers

Striker is the big issue though. In a way, it is not surprising that the Hoops boss is considering a move for two strikers in January.
Celtic only have one striker who is dependable to find the back of the net most weeks – Odsonne Edouard. He even scores when he doesn’t play that well – the recent game against Rangers is a prime example of that.
However, none of Celtic’s other strikers can contribute to the extent that Edouard can. Both Leigh Griffiths and Vakoun Bayo have found the going tough for the Hoops this season. That is not a good thing when the Hoops are in the middle of a close title race.
That is why signing two strikers could be a good move from Neil Lennon. It could give the Hoops the boost they need to make it nine in a row.
