Celtic have come flying out of the blocks in the Scottish Premiership this season and will be desperate to get back to business after the international break.

Taking the campaign in their stride, the Bhoys are yet to concede a single goal in their opening four league fixtures and sit at the summit above Aberdeen on goal difference.

For now, the Nations League and other international fixtures move to the forefront during the break, which offers Brendan Rodgers and company a chance to regroup ahead of a congested fixture schedule.

As expected, the Bhoys’ involvement in the Champions League league phase will stretch the first-team squad. However, there is excitement in the air as they bid to overcome some of Europe’s finest.

Carrying a knock-on impact, two of Celtic’s league fixtures have now been moved for TV coverage.

St Johnstone and Ross County clashes changed for coverage

Per the SPFL’s official X account, Celtic’s away clash against St Johnstone on September 28th and their trip to face Ross County in Dingwall have been moved for television coverage.

Intriguingly, the Bhoys now face St Johnstone away at 5.45 p.m. live on Premier Sports. Meanwhile, their trip to Ross County the following week has been pencilled in for Sunday, October 6th, at noon. Sky Sports will broadcast the affair.

Other clubs are affected down the line due to their involvement in Europa League and Europa Conference League action, though Celtic’s fixtures remain untouched apart from the two mentioned above.

Initially, the reigning Scottish Premiership champions were set for a 3 p.m. slot against St Johnstone. On the other hand, their clash at Ross County was expected to occur a day before with the same 3 p.m. kick-off time.

Nevertheless, TV coverage and continental competition play a big part in the league timetable these days, so they have been updated to suit all parties.
