A furious Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter this evening to respond to a report regarding Boli Bolingoli’s breach of quarantine rules.

He said: “There should be no way back for Bolingoli at Celtic now. If he knowingly went to Spain before the Kilmarnock game and broke quarantine rules he showed he really doesn’t give a sh## about his teammates, the manager and the support… Celtic should get rid immediately.”

As we discussed earlier tonight, Bolingoli has apologised and admitted he’s made a ‘huge mistake’ following a report from The Scottish Sun.

The paper say he travelled to Spain last week, prior to Sunday’s match with Kilmarnock, without telling the club.

The report states that Celtic are angry with the defender, who subsequently played in the fixture despite not self-isolating following his return from the pandemic hit nation.

Celtic have since confirmed the launch of an internal investigation.

Sutton clearly thinks the 2019 summer signing is finished at the club, or at least should be.

All eyes and ears will now be on Neil Lennon to give a sign on the future of the player.

No doubt the Bhoys boss will be quizzed on the issue prior to the Wednesday night clash with St Mirren.

There seems to be a growing expectation this could all lead to a transfer exit.

Would anyone really argue with it? I’m not sure I would.

In other news, Celtic are said to be close to an agreement with striker Albian Ajeti.
