The initiative will also allow two lucky players from Sacred Heart to visit and train with the Celtic Academy team each year. The partnership will last for a minimum of three years.

Head of Celtic’s Soccer Academy, Chris Smith said: “We are really excited to partner with Sacred Heart College and play our part in the continued development of their first-class college football programme.

“From our initial call back in January, I could tell that they aligned with our club values and would be a fantastic addition to our ever-growing number of partners in Australia.

“We’re really excited to start the process of integrating the two football departments and look forward to visiting them later this year.”

This is an excellent program that not only helps Celtic build their global profile but also provides young people who want to make it in football, whether it be young men or women, with crucial expert guidance.
