Moritz Jenz has been wished well by his Celtic team-mates as he departs the club.

Last night, we told you how the German defender had taken to Instagram to say goodbye to the club’s supporters.

Jenz may only have arrived in July but he made a good impression with the Hoops faithful.

That goes for his fellow players too, judging by some of the love he’s been shown on Instagram.

Under his post are a smattering of comments from key Celtic figures.

Stephen Welsh: “Good luck bro”

Josip Juranovic: “Mateee good luck !! See youu”

Greg Taylor: “Good luck mate”

Joe Hart: “Good luck Mo … go and smash it”

Bosun Lawal: “All the best bro”

Ben Siegrist: “Aaaaaach Brudi”

Jenz was a well-liked guy, and it’s easy to see why.

In my limited dealings with him he was polite, engaging and always had a smile on his face.

When he met fan media for the first time shortly after signing, he shook everyone’s hand in the room.

Stuff like that goes a long way, and while Jenz didn’t quite make it as a permanent Celtic player, he will be remembered fondly.

He was an important player during the start of the season while Carl Starfelt was injured, and didn’t really put a foot wrong throughout his time.

While the lack of game time in his last few months would’ve been disappointing, Jenz has still left Celtic in the perfect way: on top, with his head held high, appreciated by the supporters and with plenty of memories.

We wish him all the best for the future.
