Celtic stars share fun training images as Lennoxtown becomes venue for snowball fight

Celtic stars Matt O’Riley and Carl Starfelt have taken to Instagram to post images from today’s training at Lennoxtown.

And while the photos do include balls, they’re not the normal footballs you’d be accustomed to seeing.

With Celtic’s training centre covered in snow, it appears that the first-team had some fun.

Both O’Riley and Starfelt took to their Instagram stories within ten minutes of each other to post photos of them with snowballs in their hands.

Also seen taking part in the fun are Giorgos Giakoumakis, Jota and Kyogo.

While we have little else to take from the event and no idea of who came out on top (although we fancy the goalkeepers) it is clear that the Celtic camp are in a relaxed mood ahead of tomorrow’s game.

It has been several years since Celtic have returned from the mid-season break with a healthy points advantage, so it’s crucial that we keep the wins coming.

O’Riley and Starfelt are likely to be important players between now and May.

With the former still looking for his first competitive goal of the season and the latter looking for a run of games, both have a lot to be gained in the coming weeks.

And if they’re enjoying the snow at Lennoxtown, they’ll be in dreamland at Pittodrie tomorrow.
