Celtic are heading into the post-split fixtures, still in with a chance of winning the Premiership title.
Nobody causes chaos like Celtic, and they have certainly made an absolute horlicks of this season, and should thank Martin O’Neill that a chance to win the domestic double is still on.
All season long, Celtic have been searching for winners, players to step up to the plate, but the majority have been unable to deliver.
But as the chaos of the post-split fixtures are upon us, 67 Hail Hail looked at the Celtic players who have won the club the most points this season, with Benjamin Nygren leading the charge with eight points won.
Does Nygren have the qualities to play in the Premier League?
Chris Sutton doesn't think so!

Who has won the most points in the Premiership for Celtic this season?
It shouldn’t be a surprise that Nygren tops the list because he is Celtic’s top scorer in the Premiership this season with 15 goals.
Added to that, the Swedish international just needs one more strike, and he would have struck 20 goals in all competitions in his debut campaign in Scottish football.
But another player who is pretty high on the list, and tied in second, is January signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (four points).
Despite only joining the champions of Scotland in the winter, he has already contributed to some big goals, including against St Mirren at the weekend.
| Player | Points Won |
|---|---|
| Benjamin Nygren | 8 |
| Kelechi Iheanacho | 4 |
| Johnny Kenny | 4 |
| Daizen Maeda | 4 |
| Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain | 4 |
| Tomas Cvancara | 4 |
| Luke McCowan | 2 |
| Arne Engels | 2 |
| Callum McGregor | 2 |
| Kieran Tierney | 2 |
| Julian Araujo | 2 |
| Yang Hyun-jun | 1 |
| Reo Hatate | 1 |
Another interesting name on this list is loaned-out Celtic star, Johnny Kenny. The young Irishman joined Bolton in January, but he has helped pick up four points for the Hoops this term.
But one of the men who seemingly replaced him is Tomas Cvancara. He has already matched the Bolton star’s tally, and many are hoping he can double it before the final ball is kicked this season.
However, one man who won’t be able to add to his tally of points won for Celtic is Julian Araujo.
Araujo is out for the season and has returned to his parent club, Bournemouth, although he was in the stands at Celtic Park for the win over St Mirren.
But Araujo’s winner at Kilmarnock will go down as one of the moments of the season, and it will become even more memorable if O’Neill is lifting the Scottish Premiership crown at the end of it.
