Celtic transfer target Aissa Laidouni had a bit of skill go pretty viral during the World Cup.
Last night we told you how Celtic had been linked with the Ferencvaros midfielder, with outlet Foot Mercato linking us along with a host of other clubs.
The Tunisia international is a name that rings a bell from events in Qatar, and part of that may be down to a complete schooling he dished out in a game against France.

During Tunisia’s matchday three win over the French, Laidouni produced a lovely bit of skill to nutmeg Eduardo Camavinga.
The embarrassed 20-year-old Real Madrid man was totally skinned by Laidouni’s quick feet on the touchline, and had to resort to fouling him right after.
While we couldn’t come across any official footage of the highly-satisfying video, a simple search on Twitter of ‘Laidouni Camavinga’ will pull up plenty of fan footage, and other chat.
TikTok is also an easy place to find the footage. Just start typing ‘Laidouni’ and you’ll see what you’re looking for, with videos already viewed thousands of times.
The incident clearly made it big in France too, given that journalist Sébastien Denis referenced it in his reporting of Celtic’s interest.

Laidouni is clearly a player with a trick up his sleeve. Perhaps we have missed that a little in our midfield since Tom Rogic departed at the end of last season.
He’s another World Cup name to keep your eye on over the coming weeks.
