Ange Postecoglou and his Celtic players are currently in Portugal preparing for the big Premiership return.
The Bhoys are back in competitive action next Saturday against Aberdeen. Before then, we have a friendly against French outfit Rennes tomorrow.
With the mid-season training camp in full swing for a number of days now, it is perhaps a surprise that we haven’t seen one single tweet or video from Portugal.
Since the team left Scottish soil on Sunday, the majority of club announcements have centred around ticketing or the B and Women’s teams.
Of course this is not a bad thing at all. Postecoglou’s Celtic have been known to do their talking on the pitch and it is almost reassuring that the first-team are hard at work in the background.
Yet the lack of training camp content is still noteworthy given how keen Celtic have been to publicise past trips, most recently in Australia last month.
It will be interesting to see if the content is ramped up over the weekend with the game against Rennes taking place at 10am tomorrow.
With Aberdeen, Hibernian and Rangers to come in the space of three weeks once we return to competitive action, things aren’t going to stay quiet for long.
