Celtic play their final game of the season on Saturday in the Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen.
Many are also expecting it to be Greg Taylor’s final match for Celtic, after six years of service, and ahead of his contract expiring in the summer.
The 27-year-old has returned to Celtic’s XI in recent weeks, after being benched by January recruit, Jeffrey Schlupp, for several months.
At the start of the season, Taylor was Brendan Rodgers’ main left-back, but there was a lot of negative noise around his performances.
Added with Kieran Tierney returning to Celtic this summer, you wonder if all of that has played a part in the Scotland international wanting to leave.

How the Celtic fans view Greg Taylor
Even with many knowing that Taylor will leave, although it hasn’t been confirmed, Stephen McGinn feels he is still ‘splitting opinion’ amongst the Celtic Park fanbase.
The Celtic-mad pundit told Go Radio that many are divided as to what level of player Taylor is, and where he will end up.
McGinn also shared how Taylor’s Instagram post, after Celtic’s trophy day celebrations, further prove that he will be off.
“Greg Taylor kind of hinted that his Celtic time is coming to an end on social media,” said McGinn. “I know you can’t swear by that, unless he announces it. He kind of hinted that his time is coming up.
“He has had a really successful Celtic career. I think Greg Taylor has been great for Celtic. I think Celtic has been great for Greg Taylor. Very interested to see where he goes next.
“He probably still splits opinion amongst the Celtic support, in terms of what kind of level he is at, so really interested to follow his career and see where he goes, and what kind of level he can play out.”
What did Taylor post on Instagram after Celtic’s final home match?
Taylor started Celtic’s 1-1 draw against St Mirren, as James Forrest scored his record-breaking goal to the delight of everyone in green and white colours.
Understandably, that Forrest strike stole the headlines, but Taylor’s post on social media after the match said it all really.
Whatever your opinion of him, one thing can’t be argued, and that’s the fact that he has been an outstanding servant for Celtic.
That’s 215 appearances for Celtic, including 11 trophies, and one more might be on the way before the week is out.
