Aaron Mooy and David Turnbull were involved in Celtic training at Lennoxtown on Wednesday.
The midfield pair both sat out Saturday’s 4-0 Premiership win over Aberdeen, which led to plenty of speculation ahead of Sunday’s big final against Rangers.
Ange Postecoglou did suggest both would be back in training this week, and that news was confirmed by a video posted by Celtic.
But you have to be a Celtic TV subscriber to watch the ‘Lennoxtown Unfiltered’ footage, with the club not posting it on any of their social media channels.
There haven’t even been any photos from the Lennoxtown session made public.
The three-minute video was uploaded on Wednesday at 3:09pm. It shows Mooy and Turnbull clearly involved, both in the running and ball work drills.
Having done a detailed checking off of our key players we can gladly confirm that the likes of Carter-Vickers, Hatate, McGregor and Kyogo were all present too.
Celtic usually keep their training videos for the end of the week, and it’s likely we’ll get some more stuff from Lennoxtown tomorrow.
But seeing Mooy and Turnbull back in training is a boost ahead of what is such a big game.
And it’s a little bonus for those Celtic TV subscribers who put money into the club every year.
Nice one all round, Celtic.
