The superlatives continue for Celtic as world football’s reaction to their Champions League win over RB Leipzig continues.
Every Celtic player was superb against Leipzig as the Hoops secured a vital three points in their quest to qualify from the Champions League this season.
Daizen Maeda was a machine as he continually pestered the German defence, Callum McGregor ran the show in the heart of the Celtic midfield and Reo Hatate broke Leipzig’s hearts after his goal ensured the win.
But it was another of Celtic’s heroes who claimed the accolade of being compared to Manchester United legend Roy Keane after he put RB Leipzig to the sword on Wednesday night.
Celtic hero Nicolas Kuhn compared to Man United legend after destroying RB Leipzig
Nicolas Kuhn is the name on everyone’s lips this week after the Celtic winger’s superb Champions League performance against the Bundesliga cub.
And as most people talk about Kuhn’s goals, multi-award winning football magazine Mundial, was blown away by this from the German winger:
The caption read, “Nicolas-Gerrit Kühn had a bit of a Roy Keane in Turin type of Champions League performance for Celtic last night. His brace was brilliant but quite honestly, it’s this perfect pass we’ve got on a loop today.”
It seems that Kuhn has it all but nobody can deny that pass was special and if Maeda had finished his chance it would have been a contender for goal of the league phase.
Celtic’s next fixture as Champions League journey is put on hold
Celtic now need to re-focus as domestic action returns this Sunday for the visit to Kilmarnock.

Derek McInnes’ men will be buoyed after winning their last Scottish Premiership fixture against Hearts at Tynecastle 2-1.
Kilmarnock have also beaten Rangers this season and provide a tough test for Brendan Rodgers’ team this weekend.
With Aberdeen at home to Dundee on Saturday night and Rangers facing Hearts at Ibrox, if results go Celtic’s way then their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table could stretch further.
