Celtic have discovered who they will face across the league phase of the Europa League this season.

The Hoops had a brilliant chance to qualify for the Champions League league phase with a two-legged play-off tie against Kairat Almaty.

However, Celtic failed to score across 210 minutes of dire football and eventually lost 3-2 on penalties to the side from Kazakhstan.

It means they dropped into pot 2 for the Europa League draw, which was finalised in Monaco at lunchtime on Friday.
