It’s never easy representing a club the size of Celtic and the pressure that comes with it.
If you are an outsider, it’s hard to understand because Celtic fall on the backdrop of Scottish football, and that doesn’t have the glitz, glamour and crazy money of other leagues.
But it has a giant of a football club representing it at the top of the tree, and Celtic’s new signing Marcelo Saracchi will be finding that out now.
Celtic signed Saracchi on a season-long loan deal from Boca Juniors, and you wonder if a man of his standing even needs an introduction as to what life at Celtic will be like.

Saracchi made his Celtic debut in the Glasgow derby over the weekend, but he would claim that he has played in bigger and more fierce matches.
Of course, Celtic and Rangers supporters would shout loud and clear that the Glasgow derby is the greatest and most-hated rivalry in the world.
But if there is anyone who can match it, then it’s the Superclásico rivalry between South American giants River Plate and Boca Juniors.
Interestingly enough, Saracchi has played for both clubs, so he has already done the unthinkable because it is the equivalent of somebody representing both Celtic and Rangers.

What’s interesting about Celtic’s new left-back, who will play a back-up role to Kieran Tierney, is that he hasn’t played that many games in his career for his age.
At the age of 27, you would have expected him to have made more than 300 appearances in his career, but that’s not the case.
Even an injury-hit Tierney has made 100 more appearances on the domestic stage than Saracchi, who represented River on 30 occasions and Boca 52 times.
