Celtic took another step towards defending their Scottish Premiership title after a big St Mirren win.
Celtic broke St Mirren in Paisley after Stephen Robinson’s side put up a good fight against the Bhoys, pulling back from behind twice in a pulsating 90 minutes in the SMISA Stadium.
However, Brendan Rodgers’ substitutions turned the game in Celtic’s favour as Hyunjun Yang scored two and created one as the Hoops ran out eventual 5-2 winners.
With Rangers losing just hours before, Celtic opened up a 19-point gap at the Scottish Premiership table and Chris Sutton wasted no time in taking a pop at the Ibrox club whilst hailing one player the former striker admits he’s really liking right now.
