A Glasgow Derby defeat to Rangers is always a tough one for Celtic fans to take.
The Ibrox club recorded their second win of the season over Brendan Rodgers’ side as the Celtic manager now picks the bones over the Parkhead Glasgow Derby.
All that Rangers’ 3-2 win at Celtic Park does is delay the date Rodgers can win the title as the 13-point gap at the top of the table is pretty much unassailable.
However, as Celtic fans look forward to possibly winning another treble, Chris Sutton had to put Robbie Savage in his place after his bizarre Rangers boast after the derby game.

Chris Sutton laughs at Robbie Savage’s ‘absolutely pathetic’ verdict after Celtic vs Rangers game
Savage said on BBC 606 [2m], “I’ve got to say, Chris, before you talk about anything else, I’ve seen your tweet earlier. Absolutely pathetic.
“Give Rangers a bit of credit. They’re the form team in Scotland right now.
Laughing Sutton replied, “The form team in Scotland? Yes, right now. How many points are they behind?”
Savage: “Are they still in Europe? Who’s in Europe, just quickly?”
Sutton continued, “How many points are they behind Celtic? 13 points behind Celtic.
“Rangers have beaten Celtic twice this season, lost to Celtic once, but Rangers fans, how do you feel about that victory today? How do you feel about your whole season and should Barry Ferguson be given the job full-time next season?”
Chris Sutton has a point but Celtic must wake up to one thing about Rangers
Sutton is, of course, correct. Celtic are so far ahead that the league is likely to be tied up weeks before the season ends.
However, there is no getting away from the fact that in the last three Glasgow Derby’s Celtic have conceded three goals in each game against the Ibrox club.
With the strength that Celtic have, the money that has been spent on the squad and the quality across the Hoops’ midfield and defence, that is unacceptable and something Rodgers must address before the Ibrox game.
Despite Celtic’s dominance over Rangers, the fans will simply not accept another defeat in the post-split derby and will want to end another league title-winning season with a win against their closest rivals.
