It’s unfortunate that Celtic won’t be able to confirm the 2024/25 Scottish Premiership title when Rangers come to town on March 16.
But the game should still be a great laugh and a chance for Celtic to rub it in the faces of their struggling rivals, as they hold a 16-point lead at the top of the Premiership table.

Not that the Glasgow derby needs it, but there is the added spice and entertainment factor of Barry Ferguson being in charge of Rangers and in the other dugout.
Brendan Rodgers has seen off another Rangers manager – that’s five in total over his two spells – after Philippe Clement was sacked last month.
It leaves those at Ibrox in a mess, begging for new investment, especially after they were downed by Motherwell over the weekend in Ferguson’s hilarious homecoming.
That’s why it opened the door for Chris Sutton to have a bit of a dig ahead of the derby.

Chris Sutton tells co-presenter not to bother watching his first Glasgow derby between Celtic and Rangers
On Sunday, Hibernian beat Hearts in the Edinburgh derby and, after the match, the Easter Road fans sang their famous anthem, Sunshine On Leith.
Sutton and his co-presenter, Ian Ladyman, on It’s All Kicking Off, were reacting to that and stating how ‘fabulous’ it was, before the Mail journalist shared that, ‘never mind an Edinburgh derby’, he is yet to tick off going to a Celtic-Rangers match.
But Sutton was quick to tell him ‘I wouldn’t bother’ going to the game on March 16 at Celtic Park because ‘that’s all done’.
“Wasn’t that fabulous,” responded Sutton to Hibernian’s Sunshine On Leith anthem. “That is what football is about.”
Ladyman added: “No, I agree. I do like a good anthem. Maybe that should be another one on my list. But I haven’t even been to a Glasgow derby, never mind an Edinburgh derby.”
Sutton then stated: “I wouldn’t bother Celtic and Rangers. They have got one in a couple of weeks. But that’s all done.”
Brendan Rodgers’ record against Rangers as Celtic manager
The last time these two met, it was a horror show at Ibrox for Celtic, but many felt, at the time, that it was a one-off and a performance to quickly forget about.
But, the Hoops still have their chance to pile more misery on Rangers and for Rodgers to extend his magnificent record against those across the road.
Over the Celtic manager’s two spells, he has wiped the floor with Rangers and has only suffered two defeats.
