You have got to love the neighbours sometimes!
Let’s be honest, Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic can’t always provide the entertainment, somebody has to, at times, take those duties, and Rangers did just that on Saturday afternoon.
It wasn’t so long ago that Rangers were winning at Celtic Park and celebrating like they were miles ahead in the Premiership table.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 31 | 25 | 3 | 3 | 92 | 20 | 72 | 78 | |
| 2 | 32 | 20 | 5 | 7 | 66 | 33 | 33 | 65 | |
| 3 | 32 | 13 | 11 | 8 | 50 | 41 | 9 | 50 | |
| 4 | 32 | 14 | 7 | 11 | 43 | 47 | -4 | 49 |
But as is life, you are quickly brought back down to earth, and it’s fair to say that has happened to Barry Ferguson’s Rangers pretty much straight away.
As Celtic continues to win and win, and before their trip to Perth, where they take on bottom-of-the-table St Johnstone on Sunday afternoon, it’s the same old Rangers.
The Gers were deservedly beaten by Hibernian, and who else? But Chris Sutton was on hand to ask one important question.

Rangers lose to Hibernian and suffer defeat at Ibrox…AGAIN!
The definition of a true winning and dominant team are their performances at home over the course of a campaign.
Well, Rangers have just suffered their sixth loss in a row at Ibrox in all competitions, as Hibernian, who now haven’t lost in their last 16 league matches, rocked up to Glasgow and put them away.
In typical Sutton fashion, he stuck the boot in like he does all the time and issued a pretty brutal five-word question.
‘How did Bazball go today?’ wrote Rangers’ main wind-up chief.
Barry Ferguson is apparently ‘raging’ as the title looms for Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic
It’s only a matter of time before Celtic are crowned champions of Scotland again – a record-equaling 55th title and a record-breaking trophy number 120 in the history of this famous club.
The title celebrations were supposed to take place in Perth – Celtic were given three stands at St Johnstone – but that simply has been put on hold.
But as Rodgers guides Celtic to another title, Ferguson over at Rangers, as he told BBC Sport, is apparently ‘really angry’ and ‘raging’. Bless!
“Angry, really angry in fact – that’s the most simple way I can put it. There’s no way I’m accepting that,” said Ferguson post-match after losing to Hibs.
“I said at half-time ‘I need to see more, I want to see more aggression in our play’ and I never saw it. That’s the thing I’m raging with.”
