Tom Rogic will represent Celtic for the first time since 2022 on Saturday.
The Wizard of Oz will play in the Foundation Legends Charity Match at Celtic Park as the Hoops take on Manchester United.
All funds raised will go towards the Celtic Foundation, and Rogic will be slipping on his boots for the first time since he retired professionally in 2023.
Celtic fans are buzzing to see the Invincible Treble legend back at Parkhead, and were treated to a special podcast episode with the man himself before the game.
Rogic reflects humbly on Invincible Treble goal for Celtic
Rogic sat down to speak on the Official Celtic FC Podcast and it presented the opportunity to reflect on one of Celtic’s most iconic goals.
Rogic scored the winner in the 2017 Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen that ensured the Hoops went unbeaten for the full domestic season, winning all three trophies along the way.
He is a humble man, however, and doesn’t like to take too much credit for the incredible achievement. Rogic insists while he feels very lucky to have scored THAT goal, it was more about the team as a whole.
Rogic said: “Yeah, I was part of a really successful team under a couple different managers. You feel at the time when you’re playing it’s just relentless.
“You’re just going every week, every week and I’ve probably had a bit more time than the players obviously playing now where you can reflect and look back on that.
“It is pretty special to know that in years to come, moments like this will be remembered. Football’s about moments and I’m fortunate that I’ve had some that will be replayed for years to come and things like that.
“So it’s pretty cool. I think as a player you kind of look at it more as a collective thing. I was part of a very successful team which had a lot of amazing players and managers.
“I guess it was me in the moment (scoring against Aberdeen) but it could have been anyone else.
“So you don’t really look at it too individualised. It’s more about the team and collective and we were certainly in a successful period where we were able to win a lot of trophies, which is something I guess shouldn’t be taken lightly.
“I feel very lucky that I was able to do that in my career.”
Rogic’s tremendous career with Celtic
Rogic is in the top 20 most decorated Celtic players of all time having won 16 major honours with the Hoops across a decade.
He signed under the management of Neil Lennon and after a slow start, his Parkhead career started to motor from 2015 onwards under Ronny Deila.

His best individual season was undoubtedly the 2016/17 Invincible Treble campaign as Rogic scored 12 goals in 37 games for the Bhoys.
He stuck around as far as the Ange Postecoglou era and he actually played 50 games across all competitions during his final year in Glasgow.
All in all, Rogic played 273 games for Celtic and scored 46 goals, some of which will live long in the memory of Hoops supporters.
