Confirmed: Referee and match officials for Rangers v Celtic
In what will be the final Glasgow Derby match of the season, Celtic go to Ibrox in the first SPFL fixture since being crowned champions.
In the context of the season, this result now has no bearing on the destination of the league title but should Celtic win, it will mean that we are undefeated against our closest rivals after six tussles this season.

This morning, the SFA announced the referee and match officials for the big derby match.
Steven McLean will be the man in the middle. This will be only his second attempt at refereeing a Glasgow Derby. His first and last one was at Ibrox back in 2016 where he took charge of Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic in our 2-1 Hogmanay win against Mark Warburton’s side
Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair were the goal heroes that day. McLean booked six players in total (three from each side) but issued no red cards.
McLean will be assisted by David Roome and Jonathan Bell on the sidelines. The fourth official will be Don Robertson.
In the VAR room, Greg Aitken will be in charge and he will be assisted by David McGeachie.

The last five Glasgow Derbies have been well-fought this season but, unusually, we have yet to see any player being issued a red card.
McLean is not recognised as being a strict disciplinarian as he has only issued 25 red cards in 221 refereeing outings in his career [Transfermarkt].
Here’s hoping that trend continues and we are talking about another Celtic victory at Ibrox in what will cap off a wonderful week for the Celtic supporters.
