If there is one player that has the qualifications to speak about what Ange Postecoglou has done at Celtic since his appointment in 2021, it’s Greg Taylor.
Now that the title celebrations have died down, the Celtic star was reflecting on the scenes at Parkhead and what life has been like at Celtic under Ange Postecoglou.
Speaking on BBC Sportsound, Taylor said, “It was a real important day for the club yesterday. It was amazing to enjoy with our supporters and it was a real good day and nice to see the scenes back at Celtic Park.

“I think it’s important just to remain focused on the next game. We take each game as it comes. We train through the week as hard as we can so we’re ready for Saturday.
“That will be no different now that we have won the league. The points totals will take care of themselves as long as we continue to focus like that.
“One of the big things that I’ve noticed since the managers came in is that we quite literally don’t stop.
“Even between drills, we’re jogging into the next one. Whether it’s been for an hour, an hour and ten or twenty minutes it’s full on. Everyone’s giving their all because they know they need to impress in training and to try and get an opportunity when the games come.
“To be at a club of the size of Celtic is unbelievable. It’s what the club demands, success, and when you get it you’ve got to enjoy it.”

The Hoops full-back has seen his Celtic career go from strength to strength under Ange Postecoglou. After the disastrous ten-in-a-row season, confidence in the team was shot and players wanted out. Taylor himself would probably admit his form wasn’t the best.
But fast forward two seasons, he is now one of Celtic’s most important players and a regular in the Scotland national team. He is also a genuine contender for this season’s Player of The Year award. What a turnaround of events for him.
I am delighted for Taylor. Being the man to take over from Kieran Tierney when he left for Arsenal was never going to be an easy feat. But he has done it, and then some. Now it’s time to kick on for next season. The Champions League awaits and Taylor will be an integral part of the side in whether or not we make it out of the group stages
