Either way, managed by Gary O’Neill, those from Portman Road have their work cut out to stay in the Premier League after promotion last season under the departed Kieran McKenna.
But by signing Maeda, as he stated in his opening message to their fans, he will give ‘everything’ for the badge and will ‘work hard and run for the team.’
Yes, this is a given for every professional athlete.
But nobody presses off the ball like Maeda, and the Ipswich fans will realise this pretty much straight away because he will cause many, many opposition team headaches.
