Daizen Maeda was sent off in Celtic’s Champions League win over Young Boys.

The Japanese winger was given a straight red card for kicking out at Mohamed Kamara after losing the plot with the Guinean defender towards the end of Celtic’s Champions League win over Young Boys.

Maeda uncharacteristically lost his cool with the Young Boys stopper which led to his dismissal and Celtic having to see out the rest of the Champions League fixture with 10 men.

However, the Celtic hero took to social media and sent a message to the Parkhead support as Maeda apologised for his misconduct that led to the red card.
