Celtic answered every question thrown at them at Celtic Park with a ruthless 3-1 victory over Rangers in another huge Glasgow Derby win for Martin O’Neill.
Despite conceding first, Celtic never really lost control and responded with the kind of composure and aggression that has defined one of their strongest performances this season.
Daizen Maeda stole the headlines with a brilliant double, while Yang’s equaliser shifted the momentum firmly back in Celtic’s favour.
Maeda’s acrobatic finish sparked huge scenes inside Parkhead and effectively ended any Rangers hopes of finding a way back into the match.
Once Celtic settled into the game, Rangers struggled badly to contain the pace, movement, and intensity coming from O’Neill’s side and the result consigned Danny Rohl to his third straight defeat in a row and the Ibrox boss was really feeling it.

Rangers boss Danny Rohl ‘angry’ at Celtic defeat
When asked if the Celtic defeat ‘hurts’, Rohl told BBC Radio Scotland, “Yeah, you’re right. I was not lying. Of course it hurts.
“Makes us disappointed, makes us also angry, and we should be disappointed. We should say it’s at the moment not what we want. I think we had a great position before the split, and in three games, we dropped really back, and this is hard to take.
“This is what we have to improve and develop very quick, because we want to be ready in the new season to be the best.
“And to be the best we have to develop.”
Celtic show the bottle Rangers are clearly lacking
Celtic have shown mettle and spirit at a period in the season where it looked like the title was slipping away from them.
Winning their fifth game in row, Celtic have shown a resilience under Martin O’Neill that has been incredible, but also nervewracking, to watch.
With just two games left of the season to go and a game against Hearts coming up in the final day, Martin O’Neill has put Celtic right in the driving seat to retain a title that looked like it was definitely heading to the capital this season.
