In an unusual weekend in the Scottish Premiership, both Celtic and Rangers found themselves on the end of a defeat.
In an event that rarely happens in Scotland, both Glasgow clubs drop points on the same day which, ironically, still meant Celtic increased their lead to Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Celtic’s defeat to Hibs opened the door for Rangers to close the gap at the top with a win over St Mirren at Ibrox.
Unfortunately for Celtic’s rivals, instead of capitalising on the Bhoys’ slip-up at Easter Road, Philippe Clement’s side capitulated and found themselves on the end of a 2-0 defeat to Stephen Robinson’s side.
Reacting to both results, Celtic hero Chris Sutton took to social media and made a big call on the Rangers boss’ future at Ibrox.

Chris Sutton says it’s ‘time for change’ after Celtic & Rangers defeats
Sutton is known for his controversial takes and forthright opinions and after both Celtic and Rangers lost, the former Parkhead striker didn’t hold back with a simple message.
Sutton said on X, “Even when the door is left ajar… dear me time for change.”
The chances of Rangers catching Celtic were slim anyway but after dropping points at Easter Road, the opportunity was there to at least make the gap between the two clubs a lot more respectable.
However, Celtic increased their lead at the top of the table by a solitary goal with both clubs having midweek fixtures coming up.
