Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart was one of the first players to send a satisfied Instagram post out to the world last night and he’s receiving the congratulations of current and former teammates across football.

Hart has become one of the icons of this Celtic group under Ange Postecoglou, embracing the passion, hopes and dreams of the Bhoys support.

His message was simple on the social media site last night, stating “Champions” alongside a photo of the team celebrating at Tannadice.

A number of high profile players were quick to get in touch however, including West Ham United star Declan Rice, former Celtic striker Robbie Keane and Manchester City legend Nigel de Jong.

This is a championship win that many people will savour for a long time. There was a huge outpouring of emotion last night to kick us off.

And that is only the start. Just think how fantastic trophy day is going to be when the team play Motherwell on Saturday. A massive 60,000 people will celebrate at Celtic Park and beyond.

We’ll get a triumphant lap of honour, we’ll probably hear from Ange Postecoglou on the stadium mic. It’s undoubtedly going to be a special occasion.

Everyone deserves it too. Nobody gave Celtic much of a chance in the title race this year. All the predictions were that Rangers would storm to a second successive Premiership victory.

This group were written off on countless occasions and even found themselves six points behind at the turn of the year.

They’ve been relentless in the league since September however and have proven themselves as worthy champions. Now we all get to enjoy it!
