It hasn’t taken long for Wilfried Nancy to experience his first crisis at Celtic.
Nancy arrived ahead of the biggest week of the club’s season, and it couldn’t really have gone any worse.
He was fighting an uphill battle from the start given the team’s outstanding form under the leadership of Martin O’Neill, which few anticipated.
But even fewer anticipated the collapse we have witnessed, as Celtic’s players have made the change to a 3-4-3 formation look like learning a different sport altogether.
After a 3-1 defeat to St Mirren in the Premier Sports Cup final, Nancy has been speaking to the media ahead of his first away match in charge.
Who is to blame for Celtic’s results? The players or Wilfried Nancy? Let us know in the comments below.

Asked about the pressures of the job in the media ahead of the game, he maintained his stance that he is not affected.
Nancy said: “This is my job. This is a normal reaction. Don’t forget that I come from Europe, so I know the way it works.
“To be fair, also, in the MLS it’s the same. Not with the same intensity, obviously, but I’ve been a player, also. So no problem with that, they can say what they want.
“And I understand that. After that, I can accept or not – it’s not the topic. The topic is to be good with my players, to be good on the practice, and to be good, also, during the game, to win games.
“I don’t have to prove anything for anybody. Simple as that. I have to just be coherent for my team, and to do my job as best I can.
“After that, I think that things will turn – not on my side, but it’s gonna be more positive. So, for the moment, it’s been ten days that I’m here.
“Like I said, I knew that before I came here it could be difficult regarding the situation. This is the first time for everyone to have a coach who comes in the middle of a season like this.
“So I knew that it could be a lot of adversity, but again, like I said, I’m really happy to be here. I do my job as best I can, and after that, things will go in a more positive way.
The game kicks off at 7.45PM on Wednesday.
