Derek McInnes felt that Hearts deserved to win but has plenty of confidence that his side will be able to recover from a first league defeat.
Hearts’ unbeaten start to the league season came to an end after they were beaten by Aberdeen on Sunday.
It now means that the gap between Celtic and the Jambos is four points after Callum McGregor’s stoppage time winner against St Mirren.
Martin O’Neill’s side have a game in hand and play Hearts at Celtic Park in two weeks’ time, which could give the Bhoys the perfect chance to go top of the table.
Despite the setback, it seems that McInnes isn’t panicking and thinks that they won’t fold under the pressure.

Poll: Will Celtic win the league?
Derek McInnes says Hearts were the better side after Aberdeen loss
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, the Hearts boss said: I thought we were the better team, created the better chances.
“But we don’t show the poise or quality for the final bit. We looked rushed at times.
“If we’d scored, it makes it a totally different environment for Aberdeen.
“It was a blow losing Lawrence Shankland, Ageu as well.
“When you lose a game of football, you need to respond and I’ve no doubts we will respond.”
Celtic must take advantage of Hearts slip-up
That’s now one win for Hearts in their last four games and the pressure of being in a title race is beginning to affect them.
We saw Aberdeen fall away around the same stage last season and the Hoops must ensure that they don’t waste this opportunity.
Rangers’ recent revival under Danny Rohl also means they will be looking to pounce but in Celtic’s case, they can only focus on themselves.
