Dundee United manager Liam Fox has spoken warmly about Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou ahead of the two teams meeting at Tannadice on Sunday.
Fox, who was appointed from within following the departure of Jack Ross, has shared that the Bhoys boss took time out of his matchday before and after the last meeting between the two clubs at Celtic Park in November.
Celtic won 4-2 in a thrilling encounter that day after Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada scored late, late goals to spoil United’s attempt at pulling off a shock result.

As quoted by The Dundee Courier, Fox said this week: “Ange has been really good with me. I had a really good chat with him before and after the game at Parkhead, which was good of him.
“He is a top manager, is in charge of a top squad and has worked at the highest level. Whenever you get somebody like that to give you five minutes then you need to make the most of it.
“Ange just told me to be clear in your mind of what you want and how you want your team to play and go with it. He is a really good guy and was happy to pass on some words of advice.”
Despite the admiration for the Celtic boss, Fox has also noted that United can’t play with fear or too much respect for the Bhoys this weekend.
He continued: “They have real quality across the pitch. Celtic have a clear style and way of playing that is really effective. You try to stop them in one avenue and then you can be done in another avenue — because they are top players.
“But it is not a game we are frightened of. I have confidence in my players and my team. I feel we are in a better place. It will be difficult but we are at home, in front of our fans and there is an expectation on us to do well for.”

Celtic thrashed Dundee United 9-0 earlier in the season but the Terrors were much improved under Fox’s watch in November, so the Bhoys can’t take anything for granted in this one.
In fact, it could be a pretty open and exciting game in a prime TV spot on Sky Sports. If it is, you’d back the Bhoys to show their quality and pick up all three points.
