Aberdeen managerial hopeful Dwight Yorke has been speaking about the Dons, Celtic and Scottish football today.
The former Manchester United and Aston Villa forward seems keen on going up against Ange Postecoglou and the rest, if some recent comments are anything to go by.
Yorke has been speaking to OLBG, where he said it was “a privilege to be linked” with Aberdeen.

His mate Mark Bosnich recently backed him for the vacant Pittodrie gig in a Daily Record interview, and even suggested he could lead them to the Europa Conference League trophy.
When the comments were put to Yorke, he went a step further by boldly suggesting that the Dons could end a “Celtic and Rangers strangle hold” with him in charge.
He said: “Mark Bosnich is a good friend, I promise I haven’t paid him to say I can win the Europa Conference League with Aberdeen.
“We know that Celtic and Rangers have had a strangle hold over the league for years and no one has been able to break that hold.
“There is a good opportunity for me to break that hold in the right setting with the right backing. Before anything happens, I have to get the job first, this is just based on what Bosnich has said.”
While many from other outlets may take offence with the ballsy nature of Yorke’s comments, our issue is with him grouping our rivals in with Celtic as having a stranglehold over the game here.
A look at the past decade’s trophy winners would tell you Celtic, and Celtic only, have dominated the landscape in Scotland.

We’ve won 10 of the last 11 Premiership titles, and are huge favourites to make that 11 from 12 this season.
If you include the domestic cups too, Celtic have won 20 of the last 30 trophies on offer.
Two thirds of all trophies won by a single club. That would constitute a “strangle hold”. St. Johnstone are next on three, by the way.
In December, Ange Postecoglou spoke about the curious trend of managers grouping us with our rivals. (Sky Sports). It would be interesting to get his thoughts on these comments.
Anyway, Yorke would be a pretty box office appointment if these comments are anything to go by.
If the speculation is genuine, his first game could come at Celtic Park next weekend.
