Former Celtic hero Emilio Izaguirre has been announced as the latest addition to the Celtic Legends squad that will take on Liverpool at Anfield later this month.
A raft of big names have already been confirmed to be taking part in the fixture including Artur Boruc and Stiliyan Petrov on the Hoops side. Paul Lambert will take charge of the Bhoys with Kenny Dalglish in the dugout for a Reds team that includes the likes of Jamie Carragher.
The Foundation added Izaguirre’s name to the list this morning, much to the delight of the Celtic support who are relishing the chance to see him in green and white once again.

The Honduran defender was a hugely popular player with Celtic supporters, having made 271 appearances across two spells at the club.
His vibrant, attacking performances at left-back really helped drive the team to some excellent trophy success. He won 12 medals in total with the Bhoys.
Now 36, he officially retired in a social media post last year, highlighting the kind words he’d received from Celtic supporters in the aftermath.
Tickets for the Anfield clash on 25th March are on sale now and 100 per cent of the match proceeds have been committed to good causes.
Beneficiaries will include Celtic FC Foundation, Forever Reds (the official LFC former players association which, among other things, provides support to the club’s former players in need of care) and a range of programmes delivered by LFC Foundation and their partner organisations aiding schools, inclusive sports, social action, health and wellbeing and food poverty.
