Brendan Rodgers has seen more Rangers managers sacked in his time at Celtic than having players sent off.

The Celtic boss’ tenure during both spells at the Parkhead club have been hugely successful as Rodgers becomes the club’s second-most successful manager of all time.

After dominating Scottish football last season, Rodgers’ double prompted Rangers to sack Philippe Clement, hire Barry Ferguson and then hire Russell Martin to end Celtic’s domination.

But now, less than five hours after Rangers dropped more points at Falkirk, Rodgers sees off another rival manager after the Ibrox club sacked Martin late last night.
