Celtic’s drop into the Europa League means that the Hoops will now play European football on a Thursday night.

After Celtic’s defeat to Kairat Almaty, Champions League football is gone this season and fans will now need to watch Brendan Rodgers’ side in UEFA’s second-tier competition.

With that, comes Thursday night football which also means Celtic’s fixtures that would have been played on a Saturday, now switch to Sunday.

So with that in mind, here is every Celtic fixture fans will now see moved as the Europa League campaign comes into focus.

Celtic’s revised Scottish Premiership schedule for the 2025/26 Europa League

Celtic will now see at least eight Scottish Premiership fixtures moved to a Sunday to accommodate participation in the 2025/26 Europa League group stages.

Here is the full list:

• Saturday 27th September: Celtic vs Hibernian (depends if tie is played on Wednesday as this is an exclusive Europa League week)
• Saturday 4th October: Celtic vs Motherwell
• Saturday 25th October: Heart Of Midlothian vs Celtic
• Saturday 8th November: Celtic vs Kilmarnock
• Saturday 29th November: Hibernian vs Celtic
• Saturday 13th December: Falkirk vs Celtic (depends on Celtic reaching the League Cup Final)
• Saturday 24th January: Heart Of Midlothian vs Celtic
• Saturday 31st January: Celtic vs Falkirk

What happened the last time Celtic participated in the Europa League

Celtic last participated in the Europa League under Australian boss, Ange Postecoglou.

Ange played six fixtures in the 2021/22 group phase, winning three and losing three.
