Celtic’s drop into the Europa League means that the Hoops will now play European football on a Thursday night.

After Celtic’s defeat to Kairat Almaty, Champions League football is gone this season and fans will now need to watch Brendan Rodgers’ side in UEFA’s second-tier competition.

With that, comes Thursday night football which also means Celtic’s fixtures that would have been played on a Saturday, now switch to Sunday.

Celtic will now see at least eight Scottish Premiership fixtures moved to a Sunday to accommodate participation in the 2025/26 Europa League group stages.
