If you’re anything like me, there’s a fair chance you’re subscribed to three or four different television channels.
That’s what’s required to watch Celtic (legally) in 2023. It’s a fair financial commitment that is only heightened by season tickets, travel, merchandise and other notable costs.
With Brendan Rodgers’ Hoops set to take on a minimum of four different competitions next season, it is probably worth going over where each of them will be shown.
As always, the vast majority of our matches will take place in the league. Sky Sports have the rights for the Premiership for the foreseeable future.
Last season, Sky broadcasted 20 of our 38 league fixtures live. 16 of those were away from home with four at Celtic Park. (Aberdeen twice, Rangers twice)

Our Scottish Cup defence will continue to be shared by Viaplay and BBC Scotland. It’s the final year of the current deal which sees both show a selection of matches from each round. (SFA)
Last season, three of our ties were shown exclusively on Viaplay, with BBC getting one match. Both stations showed the final live.
It’s a little more straightforward in the League Cup where Viaplay have the exclusive rights until at least the end of the 2026/27 campaign. (Sports Pro Media)
In the Champions League, it’s TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport) who will show our matches. They have exclusive rights for the competition next season, as well as the Europa League should we drop in to that. (Guardian)

The following season, alongside the new format, Amazon will enter the market. (Sporting News)
But in terms of next season, the list reads: Sky Sports, Viaplay, BBC, TNT Sports.
And Celtic TV of course.
In other news, it seems likely that Marco Tilio will become Celtic’s next signing
