Nicolas Kuhn is now a Celtic player after his move from Rapid Vienna was ratified on Tuesday evening.

The 24-year-old winger has penned a five-and-a-half year contract with the Scottish Premiership champions and will don the No10 jersey during his time with the club.

Kuhn was welcomed to Celtic Park last night on camera and shown around the inside and outside of Paradise by Celtic TV’s Gerry McCulloch, with the video uploaded to the club’s official YouTube channel.

The German was visibly excited as he was introduced to the trophy cabinet, the dressing room and of course the journey through the tunnel and onto the Parkhead touchline.

Here, 67 Hail Hail has transcribed every single word of Kuhn’s first interview with Celtic, as he describes the two things he thinks are “unbelievable” about the Bhoys.

Nicolas Kuhn said: “I feel great that I’m finally here and I can’t wait. It’s a really big club and I’ve heard a lot about it. I’ve watched a couple of games already and we had a friendly against Celtic. It’s a big club and I’m really happy to be here.

“The atmosphere is unbelievable so I’m looking forward to seeing it now. I am really motivated to do well for this great club and I want to get working immediately as we face our challenges in the League and the Cup this year, so I’m really excited for what’s coming.

“In the end, at Celtic, it’s about doing all we can to win every game and every trophy there is, so that is the challenge here. I can’t wait to get going and do my very best for our supporters. I’m really excited and I can’t wait to have one of those (European) nights.

“It’s really important, it’s nice to be with the boys. It’s not long before you go outside and have the atmosphere so I’m looking forward to meeting all the guys.

“I’m variable, I can play on the left, as a second striker or as a number 10. Most of the time, though, I have played on the right wing.

“I’m really excited and I can’t wait to play out here. It’s (the stadium) unbelievable and I don’t really have words. This is what every footballer dreams of.

“The fans are so important and what I hear about the fans here, it’s going to be a nice thing. The manager told me he really wanted me and we had a really good talk. Now I’m looking forward to meeting my team-mates and everyone at the stadium.”
