Celtic youngster Mitchel Frame was photographed in first-team training at Lennoxtown this week, getting some one-to-one time with manager Brendan Rodgers.
The 17-year-old, who most regularly plays as a left-back but can also feature further forward, was snapped by photo agency SNS on Friday having a chat with the Bhoys boss.
It’s not uncommon for youngsters to train with the senior side but it’s a further sign that Frame is making good progress with the Hoops.
Frame has been a regular in the Celtic B side this season, making 17 appearances in all competitions. He is highly rated by the coaching staff within the set-up.
It was reported back in May that Frame was the subject of transfer interest from three English Premier League clubs including Newcastle United.
However, Celtic managed to rebuff those advances and tied him down to a new three-year contract last month that will see him stay at the Bhoys until the summer of 2026.
The defender is also moving forward positively on the international scene and already has two appearances under his belt for the Scotland U19s side.

Frame has had exposure to the Celtic first-team set-up before. He was included in the batch of youngsters involved in pre-season training this summer when Rodgers first arrived at the club.
He’s not the only left-back with a bright future at the Bhoys either. Matthew Anderson, two years older at 19, is also very well regarded by Celtic staff and was sent out on a development loan to Austrian side Admira Wacker this season where he’s already made eight appearances.
